Our Fabulous School
Learning and Growing Together
The Lara Lake Primary School community exists to care for and educate children so that they can reach their full potential both personally and academically.
Creating a world class education where every child is literate, numerate, curious and caring.
Providing a world class education in a safe, supportive and stimulating environment where all students can reach their full potential; personally, socially and academically. A school where the community collaborates, celebrates and takes collective responsibility for student success; allowing confident, active and creative individuals to take their place in society as informed and caring citizens.
RESPECT: For self, others and the environment.
To improve student learning in literacy and numeracy, with particular emphasis on writing and number.
To strengthen student engagement in their schooling, particularly in building independence and empowering students to take added responsibility for their own learning.
To provide students with positive and seamless learning transitions, particularly within the school.
To provide a community of care and from this, a dynamic learning environment, which enables all students to develop social and work place skills, and which challenges staff and students to meet their full potential with the support of all members of the College Community.

St Anthony’s Catholic Primary School is a student centered vibrant community faith school. It belongs to the Corio- Lara Parish in the semi-rural area of Lara. St Anthony’s uses a contemporary learning approach to help realise the potential of our young people and children in a safe and supported environment. Our Catholic faith and the life of Jesus is where our school draws its energy as we work.
