The Lara Football Club forms the football section of the Lara Sporting Club, Lara Football Club fields teams in the GFL and the VCFL with both senior and junior teams including under-18, under-16, under-14 and younger age groups too. The FIDA Cats also provides an opportunity for intellectually disabled people to play AFL football. The club welcomes volunteers who are willing to fulfil the role of coach, team coordinator or trainer.
