The Lara Branch of the RSL is proud to present a Dawn Service each year to commemorate the sacrifice and service of our military, followed by a breakfast.
Held at the Lara RSL in Rennie Street, Lara.

Carols by Candlelight
Lara Carols by Candlelight is held on the Sunday before Christmas Day each year.
Previously held on the grounds of St Laurence Community Services, the Carols moved to a new home in 2012 on the grounds of the beautiful Pirra Homestead, 108 Windermere Road, Lara.
In the past there have been a Children's Choir as well as a Community Choir. The community choir meets every Friday night at Holy Trinity Anglican Church (59 Flinders Ave) from 7.45 until 9pm.
